    hello all :)
its me back with a new idea, 3 weeks i bought a boyu zj401a 48L tank for cherry shrimp, the reason i want cherry shrimp is because of their lovely red and the fact that they are apparently the easiest to keep? ph anything between 6.0-8.0? temp 18-30c and can live in both hard and soft water? please correct me if Im wrong this info is from multiple care sheet sites as i like to do a lot of research first.

Are there any other shrimp that are easy to keep but slightly more rare? and can you keep snails with them or will snails stress them?
also my tank light unit has like a 2 prong light, one white one blue and its 18watt would that be able to grow low light plants? such as java moss for the shrimp?

Sounds fine. Bee shrimp are a nice alternative to cherries. Any colour variant will be a bit more fragile than cherries

went out today and bought 5 sakura shrimp and they are awesome, i read a lot that people are just calling them super red cherry shrimp but im not to sure, they were twice the price but the colour difference is worth it :) They are getting on fine :)

there is a difference between the 2 but ye. if you want their colors to pop more then feed them carrots and use dark sand and back ground. RCS can get quite red
