Post Back and Better Than Ever

Hey AC Community. I was off for a couple months due to a lot of different circumstances but I am back and better than ever! Right now I am running 2 tanks. One is my 20 gallon and the other is my 10 gallon. Right now I will post a picture of my 20 gallon and I will try and get pictures of my ten tomorrow. I am planning on recording my new dwarf sag and dwarf brazilian chain sword. I will be comparing them in my lower light 20 to my higher light 10. Keep in mind no ferts right now. Here is my 20 gallon.

    Stock:
    x6 Neon Tetra's
    x3 Amano Shrimp
    x1 Corydora
The Cory Cat is very old and unfortunately his other friends were very old too so they died of old age. So I do not want to add any more. But I feel like moving him to someone's else's tank would really stress him out and kill him. I decided to let him live in the tank he was raised in til he passes. Planning on stocking more neon tetras. I am also thinking about adding a couple Chocolate Gourami's.
    Plants:
    Dwarf Sag.
    Dwarf Brazilian Chain Swords
    Argentinian Swords
    Cryptocoryne wendtii
    Anubias nana
    Jungle Val
    Duckweed
    Lighting: 2 T8 15 watts each

Nice looking tank. Good on you for expanding your neon school, they always look and act better in bigger schools.

Thanks for the compliments. Now, if you were to do a larger school of neons what other fish would you put with them? I can find almost any fish keep in mind. Also some stats of my tank. 78F 0 ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates pH 7.2

I like the looks of the blue-eyed rainbows, (pseudomugil family) and in my small tank. They stay small enough to house in a smaller tank, and most of them tend toward the yellow colorations which is a nice offset of the red and blue. You do have to pay attention to your shoal size and gender mix, but they are rather fun to watch.

Those are really cool fish. I will definitely check if they have those. I like the colors. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will get pictures of my ten hopefully up tomorrow.

Harlequin Rasbora's are always a nice contrast with Neons. Black Neons are another good choice.

Welcome back es31710. Nice looking 20 gallon.
I too would go with Harlequins. But thats only because I used to have them. Greenfire tetras (poor mans neons), are also neat but hard to find.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
