  1. Default Pignose / arrowhead puffer & Asian Stone Catfish!!!!

    0 Not allowed!
    Hi there,
(wasn't really sure which forum to put it in)

firstly, I'm buying a pignose puffer (Tetraodon suvattii ) I've never kept one before, and I was wondering if eanyone had advice, am slightly worried about weaning it onto frozen foods and what kind of setup they enjoy? It would have it's own tank- 35 gallon, with good filtration -fluval 405, and sand- gravel substrate mix :) So really, any general advice?

secondly, I was also thinking about buying an asian stone catfish (Hara jerdoni ) for my 30gal planted-community, and I was wondering if it would eat my RCS /smaller fish and if you have any other general advice? :)

    Many thanks!

Hara jerdoni is pretty much the Asian alternative for cories. There's a good profile on planetcatfish. Shouldn't bother the shrimps too much. Don't buy jus t one though.

The puffer. says a lot. Filter sand pebbles some upright wood perhaps decorated with java fern or anubias. Bit of vallis to hide equipment and that should be enough.
