    the coral and such are generally saved for SW tanks. the list above was targeted for FW as i have 0 experience with SW. but there are some instances where the coral would be ok to use. a few that would come to mind is if you have very hard tap water (ie well water in many cases) or if you where keeping african cichlids and wanted to match the ph and hardness to their natural habitat. but in most cases stay away from them in FW uses.
    I wonder if i plant one of my tiger barbs would the demon seed grow to a full tree?
    gotta love them bunnies!

    my conversion from pfs to oil dri went quite well. Daily 25% water changes were needed as it wanted to lower my ph. This went on for two weeks. My plants took a little brought handling during the change but have bounced back. It looks great. It is VERY l
    ight and disturbs easy but I like it. I use seachem flourish to good results but think I would benefit from root tabs better.

    for anyone interested in using oil dri, i am still very happy with mine, nearly 8 months later and no problems.
