Well my pair of stainless steel scissors went missing so im looking to get a new set.... I can get emt style scissors for cheap. The main issues would be, would the plastic leach bad chems into the water? Its not gona be in too long but just concerned...KING OF THE GOLD BARBS RAWR!!!!

I don't think that the time that the scissors remain ín the the tank is even close to the time it takes for the scissors to start leaching any chemicals.
I think that this is more of an issue with things that stay in the tank long term. think of our hands. in day to day life we touch a whole bunch of different things, most of which we would never
put in a fish tank. but when we dip out hands in the water it never has killed a fish.

Should be fine. I use a little pair of nail scissors for some of my plant (particularly grass) trimming."Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." Carl Sagan
