    Default went snorkling in Hawaii!

Folks may have noticed that I was gone last week. I was on a business trip to Hawaii. I really didn't have time for sightseeing but I got to do a little bit, including some snorkeling in a lagoon near the hotel I was staying at. I forgot to bring my waterproof camera - I'm really kicking myself about that. I may be going back in a couple weeks, though, so I may have a chance to rectify that. It's funny - I can identify almost all the most common freshwater aquarium fish or North American native freshwater fish, but I'm a total loss for saltwater fish. I think I saw about a dozen different species and all I can tell you is that I saw one that looked like Gill from Finding Nemo. Wikipedia says he's a Moorish Idol, but it also says that a number of other species closely resemble Moorish Idols so who knows. Almost makes me want to start a saltwater tank... not that I have the money, or the space.

That must have been awesome Brhino. Enjoy the chance to discover the reef and don't worry about the curious here. I just started a reef tank and reading your post I would have to say, I too would have forgotten the camera because I would be in the water gung-ho. Nice trip!
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

I'm jealous, you get to go to Hawaii on a business trip, and I get to go to Regina Saskatchewan.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Yeah, but the work site was 11,000 feet up a volcano. The weather up there is closer to Regina than it is to Honolulu!
