They are curently eating algae and carrots. I blanched the carrots like useual and they love it. But i think they would like some good calcium rich for for them. Was thinking of kale, any thing else i can feed them?
Do i still blanch the kale before i feed them?
Also i think im leaving the food in too long too... Last night i left my carrot in for about 12 hrs because i fell asleep lol... How long should i leave the food in for?

My Amanos love to eat cucumber and zucchini, as well as spinach. Yours aren't Amanos but still shrimp...

I usually leave food in the tank for up to two days if it isn't finished earlier than that. Never had any ill effects of any herbivorous stock eating a two day old piece of vegetable. In fact, some only
start eating when it has softened up some.

Cherries eat anything that doesn't move any more.

Very small sliver of meat is something they will also like. Another one to try, dried spaghetti. place a single stick in the tank and just watch.
