Seems pretty pricy to me... I think more like $125 - 150 maybe. A new fluval 406 can be had for $169.

    Tank - $40 - $50 based on condition
    Fluval 405 - $65
    AC30 - $10
    Driftwood - $15
Light is not big enough for the tank $0
    maybe $20 for the rest

Yea after looking it over he is asking too much.

A new tank usually can be found for $55
You will need a new light - $80
    The plants are cheap
River rocks (really...? he thinks those are worth anything lol)
Driftwood imo is closer to $20
And the filters can be picked up on ebay if you want some cheaper ones

Plus it doesn't come with a stand:

I got the following for $80
    55 Gallon tank
2 lids / lights (needed bulbs)
    2 HOB filters
    1 Heater (needed replaced)
    stand
    net

    Better deals are out there

I agree. Too expensive. I've done a lot of pricing on fish tanks recently and he is asking a lot.
There is no stand, not a proper light, not a full hood. Also people think their decorations are worth a boatload, but they are only worth money to you if you like the decorations. The guy I bought my 90 gallon from ended up throwing in the decor for free even though I didn't want it and I resold it piece by piece in the classifieds.

Yes there are tons of good deals on CL but HArdy and Myself can both agree that there are a lot of folks who think their stuff is still worth 80% - 90% of their original retail purchase. Heck I don't think I gave that much for my 55 when I bought it new with everything (except the canister filter).
