New to this addicting hobby
Ive had the gar for 2 days and he hasnt ate anything yet. The feeder fish have been in the tank as long as he has. Anyone know why hes not eating im assuming hes just adjusting to the move and will eat when he needs to. Also my LFS is gonna order me a freshwater barracuda which will be his tank mate. Cant wait to watch these guys eat!

Welcome to the AC! You'll find a lot of really helpful advice here. If you have specific questions about your fish and why it isn't eating yet I recommend posting in the correct category (gar or general freshwater) because it is much more likely to be seen there by someone who can help you. In your initial post it is best to include the size of your tank, size and type of filter, exact list of tank inhabitants, water temp and ammonia/nitrite/nitrate numbers so that whoever answers your question has all the info.
I am sorry I don't know anything about gars to give you more advice than that.~Manna
