  1. Default 14 gal on 10 gal stand..plus acf question

Hello all. Recently purchased a new 14 gal tank (thought id use my old 10 gal for my baby acf). The 14 gal has the same footprint as my 10 gal...its just taller. Two part question...would you trust the 14 gal on the 10 gal stand? Also, would it be ok to raise the acf by itself? Ive had acfs in community tanks and it didn't work well. Would being solo cause stress or somehow be detrimental to its health? Thanks for your time.

Hi there. :) Welcome to AC.

First of all, what kind of stand is it? If they have the same footprint the stand should be capable of holding an extra 4 gallons -- if not it's probably a pretty crappy stand.

I don't know much about frogs as they're not available in my country but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to live alone.

Hello and thanks for the reply. I don't recall the brand but I purchased it from a pet store about 8 yrs ago. Probably petco. Its made of wood and seems to be of decent quality.
