    Default Black skirt tetras, columbian tetras or diamond tetras?

    Which of these three do you most prefer,and which do you think would be best for my tank? I all ready have 10 black skirts but I may change them out for one of the other two listed. Current tank mates are four baby firemouth cichlids(trying to get a mated pair) and a male bristle nose pleco, I may add hoplo catfish later on. The tank is 55 gallons.(I only want one school)

    Out of those three columbian tetra are my favorite, but I think the black skirts are better suited for a tank with a pair of firemouth cichlids.
    If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?

    I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

    I would with go Columbian or Diamond because everybody has Black skirts and both are as just as hardy (as black skirts) and will stand their ground with your chiclids.

    As a matter of fact when Columbians were first introduced, some people thought they were an aggresive species because of their "boldness". This has proven to be wrong. I have kept them with Green neons and Ember tetra's and never had them harm either.

    i love my diamond tetras, awesome colors, lots of different activity through the day in my tank. their scales remind me of glitter or holographic foil.
