5 gallonqt
can i setup my 5 gallon qt without a heater till i can replace it.
we are all on a journey.
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.

If there are no fish in the QT you can. If you have fish in there they will need a stable temperature. If you can maintain a stable temp that is within their normal range it will be fine, if not you need a heater.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

thought as much, only things i have in the tank at the moment are one small power head which filters at 178 litres an hour even half that which is 84 litres an hour im happy with,sponge type though,and a corner filter which refuses to stay in place ill silicone that in place once ive got more time and one 6 watt dayglolight

finally got a heater now to fishless cycle, can i put and grow some live plants in the qt tank

Yes, people often successfully cycle tanks with plants in them.
