Tank inhabitants look wonderfully healthy. Good work.

The only thing that sticks out for me is the lack of height in the decor. Any chance of propping the pieces of wood up in a ^ formation or something?

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone!

Firefly -- I've had a go but they are sooo heavy they won't sit upright without me building some kind of brace to hold them up that way. The only other option would be to saw them in half but that seeds like a waste considering how nice they are. I have some new driftwood coming soon (hopefully) which will add a little height. I've also taken all the rocks out so I can just focus on getting a nice aquascape with the wood.

Tiiiime for an update! No new full tank shot as this tank has barely changed. I've given up on it looking pretty as they just move it all around anyway. Stock changes -- Firemouth has gone, Green Terror will be going shortly and 2 new parrots have been added. So stock is 3 severums, 3 blood parrots, 1 ebjd and a pair of T-bars. Plan on selling 2 of the severums but as of yet haven't decided which 2.

Added 2 more parrots to keep my parrot company. He seems much happier with 2 friends and the 3 are now inseparable. My original parrot and one of the new parrots laid eggs once but they ate them soon after. A shame, but parrots are usually infertile anyway.

My 3 red severums. Sooner or later I'm going to have to narrow down to 1, but I just can't decide which one I like best!!

My reclusive male T-bar finally let me photograph him. They currently have eggs AGAIN in their pot. After I took all their rocks away they were so miserable -- they seem to have a new purpose in life since I gave them a pot to "nest" in.

My Electric Blue Jack Dempsey. Looking like quite the stunner of late.

Gorgeous photos and gorgeous fish! IMO i'd choose the first Severum to keep, that you showed. It has gorgeous coloration and a less elongated body. For me, idk if its the same for you, I really like the stockier, shorter bodied Severums. Definitely will be a fish I'll aim to own when I get my own home.

+ 1 to Gesp56, keep the first Severum, that being said; all your fish look great as usual!

Get rid of the parrots and keep the severums

No, seriously though - all your fish look so healthy. It's a real credit to you. Well done. Love the photos of them.

^^Have to agree there. I love parrots, like a lot, but those severums really are just gorgeous.
