Lovely tank! It's soo big! Love how you put together the sand, river stones, and wood.

Thanks Berylla! Glad to hear people like it. I was going for the natural river-scape look. :)

I see what your talking about with the Loach's. Very similer.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Thought it was high-time I updated this thread! There's been quite a few changes to the stocklist (and not enough change to the layout). It's leeeetle over stocked atm but don't judge me just yet, many are temporary residents. Some I'm growing out for other tanks or other people, some I just need to get around to selling. I also have several dump-ee fish. I have a friend (incidentally, the friend who first introduced me to fishkeeping) who has been given 2 weeks to vacate his property due to big issues with his landlord, and he has decided that moving his fish tank for the 10th time is not something he wishes to do, so he has given all his fish to me for me to find appropriate homes for them. These fish included 3 Common Plecos (2 of which I have already rehomed), 2 Convicts which I have also rehomed, a GT, and no less than 6 baby Oscars -- 2 albino tiger, 2 tiger and 2 red. Which will be great fun to find homes for.
Anyway. Updated stocklist is:
- 5 Severums (will eventually only have 1)
- 1 Blood Parrot (I hope to add a few more of these)
- 1 Green Terror (dump-ee)
- 1 Electric Blue Jack Dempsey
- 1 Firemouth (will probably sell soon)
- pair of Sajica Cichlids
- 6 Yoyo Loaches
- 1 Leopard Sailfin Plecostomus (dump-ee)
- 2 oscars (the others are in a different tank)
And onto pics!

My gold sevs have had a growth spurt. This one was only 4cm when I got her.
My Electric Blue Jack Dempsey and a fat loach.
My biggest severum. This will probably be the only one I keep.

Firemouth hasn't grown a lot. Will probably sell it.
Gorgeous Leopard Sailfin Plecostomus. I really like him. I'd keep him if he didn't make such a massive mess of my sand.
Little baby Terror.

Lovely tank and fish. Is the jack Dempsey still getting along?

My true red severum. Even though he's a "pure-bred", I don't like him anywhere near as much as my half-reds.
Mr. BP. He's reigning King of the tank and has no problems showing the severums who's in charge!

Madagascar he's doing great. :) For the longest time I couldn't get him to eat anything other than Blood Worms but he's doing great now, eats really well and is always out and about. Starting to grow finally!! Doesn't get on great with the Firemouth but apart from that he's mellow.
