Mushroom coral placement
Am I correct in thinking mushroom corals should be down low and off to the side away from the strongest light?
Also I think I read that mushrooms do not like alot of current.
I have two I picked up yesterday and I have them at one end near the bottom. I cant keep them out of the current but in the present location the current is minimal.
The tank is a standard 55 gallon with a 16k 3 panel r420r LED light. Three power heads at the sides of the tank plus the overflow return in the centre of the tank.
The mushrooms aren't laying flat, they seem to be turned up at the outside edges. My guess is too much current.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

If the edges are turned up towards the light (making them look like a tulip), they are likely not getting enough light.
All of my mushrooms seam to do best with moderate light and moderate flowIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Alright I'll move them up a little higher in the tank. How much current can they take?
If I move them up the power heads will be putting more flow over them. Maybe I can get the live rock to block some of the current.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
