If it helps any Rue, I'm in Regina today and they have way more snow than we do. These is about 4 feet on the ground in most places. I have never seen this much snow,.... ever.

I'm in Northern Ireland. We usually have the 6 inches and goes away after a few days, kinda snow.

This last few weeks we had a major snow snow storm, 60mph winds, heavy, heavy snow and sub zero temps for several days. I'm surprised we coped so well, TBH. Couldn't get to work last Friday, got stuck in a snow drift, turned around as it was getting heavier. Monday morning the road was plowed clear, but walled in by 8 foot drifts piled up either side along with buried cars.

We are used to rain! Not this white stuff. And that strange funny shiny ball in the sky that occasionally shows up here in March has been replaced by a fake one, seriously the other one is warm, this one is just bright. I think it's austerity measures!

The sad side is, the farmers got hit really bad. Most had just planted their crops, cattle and calves out in the fields. Lambing season. A lot didn't survive. :( Army helicopters and mountain rescue and shipping in animal feed and digging them out.

I am sure glad I don't have to dig out the ponies...

I feel really sorry for our deer though...they're having a hard time getting through the snow and across the snowbanks...

We used to live down there...and they do get more snow than we do (in general). But I'm glad I don't have to see it...I'm traumatized enough at the moment...lol.

The melt that took place in the city yesterday was amazing...water everywhere. And it can only get worse!

Well now...might have snow flurries today...and more coming this weekend...

The freezing rain we had this morning was a nice prequel...don't want to get complacent and think the snow will actually melt...and stay melted...

Most of my snow here in WI has melted, but everything is a mess. The roads were dug up really bad this winter by the plows so there are holes everywhere. Only a few large puddles forming here. The farmers fields are like small lakes with all that water.

Over here it's heating up a bit finally. It's also been exceptionally dry. We've had the first heather fire already, a good 3 months early. Next week should finally bring some rain again.
