I think I've reached my limit...I've been white-knuckling it on icy highways and snow-covered roads since October...

Yesterday, today and over the weekend...we might even have a record snowfall for the season.

The snow is so high in our backyard (off our patio) I can't physically shovel it anymore...my arms are too short to toss a shovel full up that high...

And then there are the flooding concerns when it all melts...esp. if it melts quickly....

Anyone have a nice, safe, dry sanitorium they can recommend??? I'm ready...where do I sign?

    I know how you feel

In the lowest part of my back yard, the snow is 3 feet deep, and as high as 6 feet were the wind blew it into snow banks. I had to shovel snow off the roof of my guarge twice this year due to the additional weight placed on the roof by the wind pilling up 3 to 4 feet worth if snow on the roof. I don;t even know were I can shovel the snow to that we are getting this weekend. I can't remember the last time we have had this much snow in Saskatchewan.

I am NOT looking forward to the melting either.

If you find a sanitorium on high ground with two rooms, let me know
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hey, I live in buffalo and past two years we get hit with like a foot at a time, but then it melts... mostly winters have just been cold.

Well a couple of the daffodil fields are in bloom, but you still have a couple weeks before tulip time here.

You are welcome to come down and watch my seeds grow... perhaps some back patio squirrel mating like yesterday morning.

It's OK Rue, it's only supposed to snow for the next three days, we've been through worse.

And from what I have read, I only have to keep telling myself this for one more day and I will begin to start beleiving it

While I fully and enthusiastically embrace your positive approach to more, more and more snow...

...it's not really working for me either...

I can't fully open the back door to let the dogs out...and it's frozen, so I can't shovel the lump either...
