Channa Stewatii
Looking at buying 2 x Channa Stewatii / have a 4 ft / 2ft / 2ft tank waiting for me to collect, was wondering as im going to buy these at very young age is it worth adding some other fish to the tank at same time or will it only take matter of weeks before they are eaten ?
Also what to feed the Baby Channa??
Help much appreciated.
Best Regards,

Never kept Stewartii but once I quarantined 10 Channa Argus for 5 days before sending them to buyer. They were 2'' (5 cm) long and they accepted live blood worms (after quarantine also). So I suppose that you could start with b.w. and gradually introduce frozen b.w. with any kind of flakes. All channas are very smart fish, they will quickly learn and accept all food you offer.
Regarding keeping them in a community tank - I also hope that somebody could share their experince, very interesting.
