vicensza 260 circulation problems
Hey guys,
my first post so please be patient!
I have a circulation problem with my tank, its a fluval vicenza 260 bow front. Im injecting Co2 via a pressurised system and a inline atomizer (placed on the outlet side of the filter), my problem is that im getting a big "dead" spot in the centre of the tank where particles are just going around in circles and never passing into the filter (and therefore not cleaning it making the water look rubbish!). Im using the built in filter connections (through the glass) and would like to continue using them.
My equipment is:
eheim 2028 professional 2 rated for 600ltrs pishing out 277gph with the normal media but 3x polishing pads
3 x koralia nano 900
1 x koralia 2600
here is a google picture of my tank:

as you can see both the filter inlet and outlet are on the same side, so any ideas on how i can arrange my circulation pumps and the filter outlet would be greatly appreciated!.
Thanks
JJ

You can try moving the filter exhaust/intakes around. If that does not help, consider a power head to add a cross current in that part of the tank with the dead space. By the way, I very much hope you mean 260 liters because if it is 260 gals, you are under filtering with a single filter with that outflow/turn over rate (also, mfg flow rates are over inflated and never enough for their stated tank size.) If so, add another filter is your #1 issue to address.

Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell
