About to do a pwc when I saw this....
It's sooo tiny I can't figure out if it's a peppered cory fry or maybe just maybe an oto fry? Either way, ::happy dance:: and luckily my parameters are good so no pwc for today!!

Any one know for sure? I'm scouring the tank for more...this one has a good spot, on top of my thermometer at the top of the tank :)_______________________________________________

It is virtually unheard of for otos to breed in aquaria.
If that is indeed an oto fry(and it sure looks like it), then a massive congratulations!

Here's a question though...I've been treating daily with Pimafix & Melafix (three days now) for a tetra with a couple tiny white tufts (see my post in the fish disease section), can I continue to treat?

They are supposed to be "safer" so you should be okay.

Just thought I'd give an update, Oto fry is growing and I've found several more really tiny ones hiding in my substrate (making gravel cleaning difficult). Is there something I could do like put a clean nylon stocking over the python tube so I don't suck any up by accident? Here's a current pic of the first little guy I found:

Must be something about your water the Oto's like
. Like Madagascar said, you don't hear of them spawning in home aquariums very often.
