What to do?
0
Here at work and I cross paths with a female co-worker who's dress attire is a bit revealing. Maybe she just has her shirt tucked in a little to far, but concerned she might get in trouble. She's a really great employee. I don't work with her in same department so I don't have the work relation. What should I do? Should I chat with her supervisor, talk directly to her, oh just ignore it? Oh if you don't already know I'm of the opposite sex. I guess that really should be obvious as if I was female I wouldn't be asking an just talk to her, right?

I would say ignore it. Seems the most innocent intentions get misconstrued and misinterpreted these days, especially in the workplace. I wouldn't risk it. If you talk to her about it, she might think you're coming on to her. And it's really not your place to go to her supervisor. Best way to stay out of trouble: MYOB.

I'd wait to see if it becomes a habit, might just be a poor choice today. If it continues it would be up to her supervisor to say something "if" there is a dress code.

Thank you guys for your input. I decided just to ignore the situation. I'm thinking it was just a wardrobe malfunction and likely won't happen again.

If she or any employee is doing something against company policy it is exactly your place to go to her supervisor. Unless you are in a management role in this company or a personal friend there is no reason you should go up to another employee and tell them how to properly dress. With all that being said, unless her attire is a safety issue, is distracting other people from getting their work done, or makes the company "look bad" to its customers, I would let it go and chalk it up to you being an observant fellow.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me
