need help stocking 55g
I have a 55 gallon tank with 10 black skirt tetras, 4 very small firemouth cichlids(trying to get a pair), and a small male bristle nose pleco. I was wondering if I could add what I believe to be a school of 10 columbian tetras, they had them at my LFS, but I was just scanning and glanced at them and though they looked cool(but I forgot to check the name tag), from the research I have done I believe them to be columbian tetras. P.S. I have an Eheim 2075 and do weekly water changes.

I think you'd love Colombian tetras in that tank. I have a school and they're great fish. so much color. Some fish stores call them red and blue tetras, I believe. When the light hits them right, they shine a bit like neons
They school loosely, are totally non aggressive and stay in the mid to upper areas of the tank. Not picky eaters either. When you first bring them home, they will go very pale but once they become comfortable they'll color up for you.30 gal FW:dw gourami, cory cats, ABN pleco, Colombian & Serpae tetra, nerites & mystery snails

The Columbians are not shy so they will stand their ground with the Firemouth
.
There are a couple of more tetras to recommend that do well with chiclids, one being the Bleeding heart tetra and the other is the Buenos Aires tetra.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
