While I have never kept fresh water shrimp, I have used prazi pro to treat both fresh water fish and marine fish for parasites / deworming. I have found it to be very effective in treating both and would also recommend using it.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Dosed the prazipro... some weird looking stuff when it goes into the tank at first...
So my interpretation on the instructions is to dose once, wait 3-5 days and dose again if needed. Guessing I should hold off on my pwc for at least 5 days then? Water was just changed Monday so its not a problem. Also, what should I look for to be sure everything is ok...? The dwarf gourami only occasionally had a long white poop that I saw... any other signs I could watch for55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

I would suggest no water changes for a least 8 days while treating. I have always added the second dose (as per the instructions) on the 3rd or 4th day and I will typically go 8 to 10 days without changing any of the water. I also add a air stone when ever I use meds to add some extra surface movement to help maintain higher levels of O2 in the water. Make sure if you have carbon in your filter to remove it before adding any meds.
When treating for parasites, the most noticeable changes that I have observed was that there was no more long and stringy white poop, and a noticeable increase in appetite. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Ok
With the tank fully planted and my HOB filters I am getting good water movement. I will do a second dose to be sure...
Will these meds put any stress on the fish? I have an order of german blues coming today (thus why I wanted to make sure my tank was clean), they have already been qt'd for me, but the guy's fish that he is putting in the tank are coming tomorrow...
My water quality is ok, I just don't want the meds to cause any issues with the new fish... (which I know you aren't supposed to do, but this isn't a normal case :( )55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

the prazi is very gentle and should not hurt your rams. in fact, it's good that you'll be doing a second dose as they will get the benefit of the deworming
