100 gal fish tank - $150 (springfield) Seems too good to be true (they usually are)
I've asked him what the dimensions are, if it's glass or acrylic (glass) and I'm looking at it possibly tonight. Anything else I should ask or look for when I go to see it?

Is it just the tank? Does it come with a hood, lights or any accessories like a heater, filter or decorations?
Getting dimensions is a good idea - sometimes people think their tank is a certain size and it totally isn't!

I run across these deals from time to time... they dont take excellent care into the hobby so they undervalue the tank. Also a used tank is worth 50 cents a gallon for just the tank in my book unless its immaculate and then we can talk... Go see it, take your dimension list with you to figure out if its a 125 or 75 or what and if you found a steal go for it!

He just emailed me back, dimensions are 72''x18''x22'' so according to the calculator that's 125g. He said it comes with "all accessories" and the ones he mentions are two sump filters (I've never used sump filters, so I don't know if their better/worse than typical filters that just hang off the side but I assume these would be best for a bigger tank?) 2 heaters and "more" (hopefully lights)
I'm kind of bummed though because I don't think it'll quite fit with the larger stand... damn, I've got to measure it but the stand is just an inch and a half bigger than I'd estimated would fit there... :( dang

BUild a better stand for 30 bucks out of 2x4... I would do a lot for that deal personally... and sumps are an expensive filtration type that I would recommend you take advantage of... Im hoping he means canister filters but jump on this deal. Even if it doesnt hold water, resiliconing a tank is super cheap and easy.

its a home made stand so that would be iffy. ask him to have it filled when you get there if its holding water nicely and not bowing its a good buy. check measurements, and make sure if there are braces they arent broken.... look for cracks.... its a good buy imoKING OF THE GOLD BARBS RAWR!!!!
I wonder if i plant one of my tiger barbs would the demon seed grow to a full tree?
gotta love them bunnies!

I ended up getting the setup. Here's a thread I started showing what all I got
I think the equipment alone should be worth it because the tank itself is useless.
