Aargh lol. You guys are killing my wallet

$50 just seems like a ton... they better be awesome fish lol. While they look cool I am wondering how they would act in a group like this (2m 3f)

I'm concerned with the price. They are such delicate fish that you may loose half anyways just from the move alone. Petsmart sells them for around $6.

The price that petco asks v.s. the price a good lfs asks is the big deal... they want 15 for a Ram here in Jax. 8 for one at petco. If you were going to just go buy 6 rams from petco and drop them in your tank I would be far more conscerned than an obvious couple of pairs. 50 for 5 and two mated pairs is a pretty good price for my area.
    FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
    Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

A friend of mine was just able to find electric blue rams for $10/ea plus $16 shipping for as many as he wants. I am going to stick with this set, he is taking the challenge of trying to raise the fry which he heard was very difficult

Picked the new guys up last night... after acclimating them I shut the lights off to let them settle and figure there surroundings out...

My gourami doesn't seem to happy, went from being the biggest fish in the tank by far to about 3rd biggest. Nobody seems to be picking on anyone and tank seemed happy this morning.
