  1. Default Sex this flowerhorn!!! Please help!!!

    I know it has a nuchal hump, but it has a black marking on its dorsal fin. The black mark is only one that one side. The other side of the dorsal fin has no black. I just found eggs, and this flowerhorn along with another are protecting them. The other is real dark , as I am assuming it is a female. Flowerhorn.jpg

    The female was still showing her egg tube as she swam over the eggs, and this one had a small white tip coming out of it as it swam over the eggs.

    Looks male to me.
    FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
    Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

    Yes, it is just this picture. I am under the impresssion that it is a short bodied red dragon flowerhorn.
