    Default Hello new neighbors!

    My name is Longshot, I am from Stafford , Ct USA. I am currently running a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium in which resides: 1 marble veil angel, 1 red spot gold severum, 2 rainbow boesemani, 2 iridescent sharks, 1 Anostimous, 3 gold rams and a pleco. I have just purchased a 150 gallon aquarium that I am in the process of readying to start up. The 150 is the new home for my fish in the 55 and I will be trying to make it look a little more like an Amazon biotope except I am not LIVE planting it. I also plan on adding 10 more rainbows, 2 more severums- a super red and a rotkiel, I also spoke with someone who is looking to rehome a very large pleco that is living uncomfortably in a 55 gallon. My intentions are to re start the 55 in my bedroom with African cichlids. I have only been into the hobby for about 2 years and I am positively in love with it! I look forward to picking some brains here to gain as much useful knowledge as possible. Thanks for having me!

    Welcome.

    Err... iridescent shark is another word for Pangasianodon hypophthalmus I think. Those grow to two feet easily. And rainbows are not from the Amazone
