Bristlenose plecos stay small and don't tend to interfere too much with planting. talldutchie on this forum has some nice ones I think.

There is no "pleco" that's a common name for loricariidae and that's about 1200 different species of fish. There's very small ones in there.

L206? If you can provide clean water that's decently aerated then you're halfway there, it does need higher temps than most "plecs". It needs some wood, preferably older wood and a varied diet of veg

A rubberlipped bulldog pleco will go good in a 56 gallon tank. Just add a piece of cucumber once a week and it will be happy.
In a ten gallon tank(as aquahead asks), it would be pushing it. In my opinion a 10 gallon would be a little small for a pleco. Now a 29 gallon would be ok with driftwood and some live plants.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

By "older" you mean like 2 year old driftwood?

If it's only a 10g, what about Otos?
