Peter's Elephant Nose Fish at Petco [Video]
Until yesterday, I have never seen such an interesting freshwater fish. I gawked at it for a few minutes. Petco is selling him for $20.
Makes me want to get one.

I kept one of these guys years ago
Very cool fish indeed
They are not all that common to find anymore, at least were I live.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Yeah they are pretty cool, they have pretty specific requirements and also grow quite big. Maybe one day I will own one!!
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

I wish I could keep one of these in my 55g, but they would probably be better in a 100g. It's kinda sad how commonly you see fish like these being kept in 20 and 29 gallon tanks..,

I've had several of these over the years, I had one that lived for about six years on live black worms and brine shrimp, got about 12 inches, and considerably less shy. The problem is sooner or later they find a small opening in the hood and then you find them a few days later as fish jerky on the floor behind the tank.
