Maybe its time to clean the tank ?
I'm not to sure, but when snails start to leave tracks on the glass it might be a indecation that I need to clean my tank
You can sure tell I have not cleaned the glass in a while.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Looks like the snail is doing a fine job of cleaning without you.
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

LOL, now if I could just train them to clean the skimmer and powerheads I'd be set

Haha that's awesome!
Mine was cleaning my powerhead and it got too close to the front and got blown off.
My Apple Snail did the same thing on my spray bar once.
Crazy snails.

i have algae growing off my HOB filter from time to time, and i frequently find my turbo snail up there 1 every two weeks or so half the shell is out of the water.
I wish snail cleaned in straight lines lol.10G Algae tank-The Nano was moved to the 55G

Really neat patterns! I find snails fascinating. Love to watch them work. I'm always amazed when they are inching across the glass and I drop in an algae wafer, they actually change course and zero in on the wafer. so many biological triggers work in concert to support their survival. OF course survival in one of my tanks amounts to hanging around and waiting for me to feed them zucchini :o)
