Loaches and snails
I have a snail issue. Who doesn't, right?
I have given up on shrimp in this tank. The guppies think that they are just too darned tastey. Fine.
So, now, I am open to critters that feast on snails. I am probably going to pick up some yoyo loaches tonight.
Is there any suggestions for other loach types? Do all loaches eat snails? What about weather or golden dojo loaches? They look kinda cool.
Thanks!

Depends on ur current stock and set up. But gouramis are known to feast on snails just not hunt them as much as loaches. Clown loaches love snails and do a great job ridding a tank, tho they do require loads of space
Ever think of snail traps instead of a fish?
Or better yet, get down to why you have snails in the first place?Last edited by genocidex; 03-07-2013 at 04:04 PM.

tried several types of snail trap configs. Not much luck. So many plants, they just don't even seem to notice the bait.
Do all loaches require sand, or are some fine with normal aqaurium gravel?
