I've read about this previously. It was said to be the 5th largest tree in the world. Too bad something so old can be diminished in just a few hours because of some druggie, or anyone else, for that matter.

A meth head just wrecked a massive chunk of history. Tragic, very tragic.

We have a town full of meth heads. Nearly all of them are young kids destroying their lives before they've really had any chance to live them. Usually, meth use is a family affair and they do it because their relatives are doing it and it's easy to get.

Meth is the worst substance abuse on the planet! I'd rather see marijuana legalized federally than have all these exploding meth labs around and these kids frying their brains on all the volatile toxins they put in it.

At least pot is an herb and has some medicinal usefulness. Meth is just nothing more than a mixture of poisonous chemicals that rot the teeth and ruin the body beyond repair in many cases.

Any form of addiction is slavery, though.

So very, very sad!
