Greetings!
Hello!
My name is John, I'm from Minnesota, and until a few weeks ago, I had never owned a fish in my life, but wow, I think my fiancé has started an addiction for me! I've always been fascinated with fish, just never seriously considered getting a tank. My lady wanted some fish for her birthday, so I did some reading (I love doing research), and long story short, bought a 15-gallon tank and a few compatible fish, and I pretty much fell in love!

Welcome to the community.
As a new fishkeeper you might find yourself wanting more and bigger tanks. Don't worry; this is perfectly normal in this hobby. We call this MTS or Multiple Tank Syndrome. The symptoms include wanting more and more tanks, and larger tanks, and wanting to have fish on every available flat surface. As of yet there is no cure for MTS. Not that we've been trying too hard to find one.

Welcom to the forum. The fish bug can bring about impulsive spending at times but it is a very good hobby.

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
