good bye tiger barbs
Well its official, thursday my tigers will be leaving me for a better home. I am moving within the next month so i figured i can use their tank as a day or 2 holding tank for my 55g fish... Im sad to see them go but i am getting tired of their devious nature lol. The person taking them has a 55g with 12 others in the tank so im sure they will be mu h happier in a larger tank and school.
Now, this doesnt mean i will be getting rid of that 29g.... Will have to think hard about what to use it for when i have $ lol...KING OF THE GOLD BARBS RAWR!!!!
I wonder if i plant one of my tiger barbs would the demon seed grow to a full tree?
gotta love them bunnies!

Aww, sorry about that. I think you are sending them to a good place though. :) Now new possibilities will arise.
130g: 7 Angelfish, 1 Bolivian, 17 Neon Tetras, 14 Serpae Tetras, 9 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, ? Ghost Shrimp
I've noticed that people HATE it when you point out how stupid they are, so now I try to do it politely.

They are a great looking fish and one of the first fish I kept but you said it best when you refered to their "devious nature". It sounds like they are going to a good home and as Mandy said "new possibilities will arise".

ik after the move im allready thinking of doing a nice planted tank and breeding a dwarf cichlid or maybe some killies... not sure and at this point i dont care yet lol. we will see what happens when the time comes. the 29 will be a saviour for my fish in my 55 as im sure (being a planted tank with minimal gravel vacing) there will be an ammonia spike in the tank when i reset it up....

Put your 55's filter on the 29g when you put the fish in and there shouldn't be a spike.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Sounds like a win-win for the Tigers and for you. You are right, tho, best I can see. I also think a 29 is too small for them but it sure is a nice sized tank for cherry barbs. At least they get along with other little fish you may want to add.
I might be moving myself but my move (hopefully) will be from the 5th floor in this building to an apartment on the first floor. Amazing how it takes as much work to move a tank in the same building as it does across town.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

I have always loved Tiger Barbs and considered getting them for my 90 gallon instead of the roselines, but I have read so much about what pains they can be that I opted for the roselines instead.
