New job....you think?
I thought if I sent this pic to Allglass that for sure they would want me to head up their silicone department.
What a bloody mess. I take this stuff off again and it will require a sand blaster.
How stupid to bother repairing a small tank. I could have just bought another one for $38!!!!!!!
Only one side leaked so why tear the whole tank apart, says Hobbs? Makes no sense to me.
But since it will probably leak still, I am wondering about lining it with plastic and just growing some bog plants in it and replacing this tank for the stand with a 37 gallon.Last edited by Lady Hobbs; 10-24-2007 at 04:22 PM.

Well... I wouldn't want you caulking my bathroom or windows anytime soon... LOL
Did you use a caulking gun or just one of those little tubes of aquarium sealant they sell at Wal-Mart???
I have a caulking gun with a BIG tube of silicon I keep for repairing tanks, but then again I repair a lot of peoples tanks.... Everytime I get a tank used from someone that is over a year old, out come the old seals and in go the new...
