Fish compatabilty help
Im starting a new 24 gallon tank and want to have celestial pearl danios and clown killies as the "stars" of the tank plus dwarf african frogs and some form of inverts like cherry shrimp or ghost shrimp. Will they all get along or will there be problems? Thank u!!

Here is some info on the clownkillies unless you have already researched them & know all this:
http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fish/clownkillifish.php - they need soft water & lots of plants according to this.
I'm not sure about the frogs although I would bet that shrimp wouldn't be a good bet - I assume they'd become frog/fish food unless you have lots of plant material they could hide in.
The CPD's would probably look nice in that sized tank.Last edited by imma24; 03-05-2013 at 03:30 PM.

I have well water which is hard water. I'm adding driftwood to my 20 gallon now to see how much or if it will soften the water.
I would like 2 different types of fish with the one being the CPD's. From what I've researched so far, the CPD's can get a little aggressive within thier own group and wanted to make sure they are compatable with the Clown Killies.
BTW I will set up a med planted tank - red flame and micro sword mostly. Thanks!!
