I think this combo would work IMO. Endlers and Neons work good together.

There are two small tetras that can be considered micro-fish also because they don't exceed 1". They being the Green neon and the Ember tetra. They might not be availble at your LFS but they have become more popular the last few years.

One cool option is the ember tetra, you could fit maybe 6 of them. In guppies, I say you could put 3 or 4 alone, or you could do the endlers and the neons. For anything big, I don't know if a dwarf gourami would work. If so, maybe you could put 2 smaller dwarf gouramis, like honey gouramis, but I dont know. All of these suggestions could have shrimp as a great add on, but suit yourself.

You can't fit much in a 10 gallon, but you can get a good amount of small fish. I say you make it embers and neons or neons and endlers.

I'm going to go with 6 endler (all male) and 4 Otto

IDK - that seems like a lot of fish for a 10gal - I would personally stick with one or the other. I'm not sure how large those fish get but there's that old rule "1 inch of fish per gallon" which doesn't apply unless the fish stay at an inch or less full grown. Just my opinion.

Get the right species of oto and plant it well and you could make this work i think. Tank would be full though

Endler are a great fish for a 10 gallon, in fact thats alot of room for them considering they rarely even get an inch. Good job on your fish choice if you did choose those.

@talldutchie: I hate to ask, but what is that microfish?(The picture on all of your posts) I have 2 of those in my 8g fluval and they are like 1 1/2 centimeters or less. Very pretty fish and do well especially because it is well planted. I forgot to catch the name of the fish, the store is 2 hours away from my house.

both species get an inch and endler have very low bio-mass.
i think i am good with that setup.
