The blessings of a good technician!
I was having such headaches with this computer over the last several weeks, I finally had to call my tech, who took it and did wonders with it. And charged me very little! This guy is amazing! Kudos to all those techs out there who really know what they're doing and keep semi-cyber-literates like me going. Each visit he teaches me a little more. And explains it all in simple English on top of it.
Where would we be without these guys (or gals)?20 gal. high: planted; 1 zebra danio, 6 glofish, several snails, 2 (visible) RCS; AC50, Azoo air. 65 gal: planted; 4 rosy barbs, 6 glofish, 5 white cloud minnows, 3 zebra danios, 5 dojo loaches, several snails; AC110 x 2.

I used to do this when I was a bit younger for an extensive circle of friends, family and acquaintances. Never did charge much but also I don't think I bought my own bottles of whisky between 1998 and 2006.
Sometimes it was very rewarding work indeed. My 33 gallon/125 liter tank. My photography on flickr.

I have to take my computer about a half hour away from here for maintenance, but the guys keep the old piece of junk working. When I got my disk drive fixed, part plus labor should have cost me $57. But they only charged me $35 for the part itself

If that was after the Thailand floods then that was a real steal for a new drive.
