Flourish vs. Flourish Excel

Just a quick question.

I'm planning on dosing ferts in my new planted community rescape. Do I need to dose both Flourish AND Flourish Excel or does Flourish Excel do everything that Flourish does? I know Excel contains liquid carbon but what does Flourish have that Excel doesn't? Also how much of either would you recommend dosing? (eg. Flourish every other day, Excel weekly?)

Flourish is the trace elements, excel is the liquid co2. Ideally you'd want to use both. What I do is my flourish equivelant twice a week and the excel daily. I find that recommended dosage for these products is rather high, start with half that for at least two weeks and then decide if you want to up it a bit.
