I guess I should have responded more positively.
Small kids love to feed the fish, and they love to overfeed.
The MTS do a wonderful job of keeping down the mess... and I have deep gravel for a substrate. They keep it stirred for me.Looks about 40 Gallon Tank

I have MTS in a couple of my tanks. They do their job but the popultion is unreal. Once a month I pull hundreds of them out of my 80 gallon. Just be careful if you have multiple tanks... I missed on a decoration or net or something and ended up with them in a couple tanks I didnt want them in. Once you have them you arent getting rid of them.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I have decided to go ahead and add some MTS to my tank. I am hoping to find someone local who has some they are willing to give me. I would rather not get any from Petco. I've tried to avoid getting stuff from them since a friend of mine got ich in his tank after buying a plant from them. I found one local person who is selling some MTS, but $1 a piece for a snail that reproduces that quickly seems excessive.
