    The male will have bristles and more triangular shape and a pink diamond or raspberry on it's head in the center. The visibility of this varies but almost all have it. The female will have no bristles and be shaped like a bowling pin. You should be able to see eggs in her abdomen if she is on the glass belly exposed.
