betas and snails
ok i have a beta and ive read alot of threads on here saying mystery snails are ok to but in with betas. i have a recommended size tank and silk plants with heaters and filters and the works lol but i put a mystery snail in with him (mostly because i have read that it should be ok) and he didnt like the snail to much and tried to attack him within minutes so i had to put the snail in my other tank.

Some bettas don't mind snails. Other bettas absolutely refuse to share tank space with anything. It's always hit-or-miss. And it depends on the temperament of the individual betta. You must have a territorial one
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act

You could try taking the betta out of the tank into a bag, then move stuff around inside so it looks completely different, then put the snail in, the the betta. This only works sometimes, if it does it is because the snail has been put in first. it's to do with territory or something.
Anyway.. some bettas just don't like anyone in the tank, so if it doesn't work, don't get to down hearted x good luck
