Rainbow Emperor Tetra
My dealer finally got this fish in. It's one of those fish I've always wanted to keep but only saw once in all my years of keeping fish.
I will order 10 tomorrow, I feel like a kid at Christmas again!!

That is a neat fish. I would love to have some but they are too small for the angelfish tank I am planning and too big for the micro-fish tank I am re-scaping. Another case of too many fish and not enough electric outlets for more tanks
Good luck with them!
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

really a pretty fish. I've never heard of them before. I just checked their profile and I see they get up to 2 inches. That's a nice size for so much color. You'll have to share photos when you get yours settled!

Congrats on the find steeler1!
Here's a profile for them over at tropicalfishkeeping.com. I find myself going to tropicalfishkeeping.com more often these days because their profiles are usually spot on with my personal experiences.

I was disapointed when I first recieved them two months ago because at 1" they looked just like regular Emperor's but they have grown so much in the two months. Thier Red eyes are realy starting to show. I'll see if I can get a good picture or video of them.
