Do Bettas fins ever stop growing?

My Bettas are all flourishing wonderfully, they've been extremely healthy, and I even saved one of them from finrot he had when i bought him.
Do their fins ever stop growing though? I mean... this is a picture of my oldest Betta 'Pops' and he's about 1 year and a half old. His fins are extremely long! It's hard to tell but they almost drag across the bottom of the tank as he swims. Is there a point that they will become an inconvenience to him?

that's a pretty betta.
fin length is genetically determined, so it does not grow indefinitely(although your betta does have very, very long fins)
as a matter of fact, the fins of every male domestic betta is a major inconvenience to them. if you've ever seen a wild betta, they have short functional fins
just like the majority of fishkind. humans have bred bettas to have long fins because humans like it that way, not bettas.

As stated above, fin length is genetically determined. However, if damaged or diseased and then healed, the fins will grow back. Generally, after an injury or illness, the fins never look the same, but stay about the same adult length.

Ah this explains a little something.
My blue Crowntail Betta is the one that survived the fin rot. Once I had stopped the infection and saved him he almost looked like the females. Now they've grown back but much darker than i remember them, and a little different looking. It's a cool look, but different. Maybe I'll try and get a picture of him for you guys :]

When torn betta fins grow back, sometimes they can grow back an entirely different color. I had a bright turquoise-blue betta who had a big red spot on his tailfin when I bought him. He ended up shredding it on the plants in his tank, and when it grew back it was completely purple. Other members here have mentioned fins growing back blue, red, orange, purple, pink, and other assorted colors.

My Mustard Gas had fin rot, twice, and both times the fins healed, completely looking different from the time before. though still yellow and white, the banding is completely different, and the shape is entirely different, you'd never take him for a half moon at the current time.
