AC is great
Just wanted to say how very glad I am that I joined this forum. Everyone here is so helpful and the depth of knowledge is amazing. I've checked out several other forums, but AC is the best.
I love reading all the threads & posts - can't imagine starting an aquarium without the help and support of the forum members. I've been exploring the other non-fish forums and am enjoying them also.
Thanks everyone! My 75 gal Journal & My Dual 29 gal Journal

ac is the only place to come for the most accurate info on all topics of fishkeeping. advice is good and at least you know you will hear from people that have been through the same problem or had the same ideas at one stagewe are all on a journey.
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.

I agree this forum and its users are full of great information.
However, I rarely post because so far, everywhere I have, I have to wade through the responses of hate, either because of the supposed stupidity of my question, or because they disagree with my question/answer or opinion/point of view, but cannot argue it logically, so instead they make personal attacks. People love to act tough on the internet.
The only reason why I am even still a member, is that a few of the other responses are generally helpful. I thank these people emphatically.120g Bala and Roseline Sharks, catfish and gouramis
30g Planted tank with tiger lotus and eusteralis, neons, rummy noses, and rams
6g Planted tank with eusteralis and swords, bettas and neons
All my tanks are 6.8-7.0 pH, my two small tanks are live plants only. Working on changing the 120 to live plants.
Also have 350g pond with koi, but the raccoons found them, so that project is on hold.

I love it here at the AC. Since I first found this site back in April of this year, while trying to help my daughter with her first 10 gallon tank, through my 40 gallon breeder build, and all points in between, it has been a sheer delight laughing, learning, and living with all of you here. I too have browsed other fish keeping forums out of curiousity, but none compare with the Aquatic Community.
The wealth of information, the highly skilled and knowledgable people, and the myriad of fascinating fish and tank stories will keep me coming back for years to come. Thanks to all of my friends here who showed kindness, compassion, wisdom, and patience with a complete and utter newbie to the hobby.
I have only been a member for 9 months, and can't wait to spend many many more months and years with you guys. It has been a complete pleasure.

AC really is the best site - and it's the admin and mods and members that make it so. Other sites I have noticed are less than kind when making some posts - AC is much better moderated and the people here far more interested in helping than blaming.

I agree, there's always plenty to discuss (and debate if necessary!) and I've learnt a huge amount here.
Whilst it doesn't have as much traffic as other forums I've visited, I've not seen another site with better emphasis or explanation on fish compatibility, cycling, and maintenance routines than here. I originally came here is as a relative rookie, and am still learning new things with each visit!
