  1. Question Clay pot for BN cave

I bought a small clay pot for my BN. Is there any special way to clean/treat it before putting it in my tank? Rinse or scrub in my RO water?

This morning I fed peas for the first time - he went goofy over them! When I left for work, it looked like he was hugging one........bet they're all gone when I get home.

A normal rinse, scrub downs should suffice.

Want to make sure no weird things are attached and it'll be all set for your BN's new home.

Thanks, mizzou. He/she is the coolest fish ever! Will be getting my last 2 rainbows and another BN this Sunday - then I'm done! I'm glad I took my time and did lots of research - I love the species of fish I have chosen. They get along very well and even school together.

I know my BN will love the new "cave".

I've found the small cichlid stones to be favored by male BN, females aren't worried about it so much. They also like clay "logs" made for pleco's, closed on one end is better than open on both ends IME.

    ^^^^Please click the eggs/dragons, thanks.
