I have had the tank for about a year, before that I started with a 10g and had that for about 6 months before making the upgrade to the current. I'm finding that upgrading is becoming an addiction! I've pretty much just gone it alone so far until I found this forum, and I've already had some great advice even though I just joined.

Oh, upgrading is the least of your problems. Wait until you get MTS, multiple tank syndrome, its prevalent that many in this community have this. Thankfully I have not experience this yet. I'm content with the one tank.

Haha the thought has crossed my mind... Especially when I still had the old 10g laying around after I upgraded. Perhaps one day ;)

Not sure of your current filtration system, but I'm using a 10 gallon in conjunction with a 3 drawer organizer for a wet/dry/sump filtration system. Just a thought. There's a link in my signature which points to a photo album with pictures of the project.

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
