dosed it with 1 capful just over an hour ago and came up with 2.0 ppm :) now the waiting game. I also picked up Fluval M100 heater much nicer then the one i had :) love the settings on the top vs a + or - setup on the other one.

i suspect when i check tonight that i will be at 0 ammonia and possibly have nitrites or not.
If i have 0 ammonia 0 nitrites the i am dossing 1 capful again correct ?
if i have nitrites then i am doing half the dose correct?
i had checked sometime yesterday way early in the morning, had like between 0 and 0.25 (i am color blind need someone to double check my results depending which test) which logic would dictate to me its probably zero by now.

attempted to go with black tetras (12) + the male betta (Crowntail i think), displayed slight aggression at first then he chilled then he was at it again i think he may of damaged one of their bottom tail fins via nipping or i just didn't notice when i was attempting to inspect 12 fish in a bag . oh well hes back in his tiny home may convince my cousin to get the 10 gallon hes got no space for up and running and move the male betta to that. or atleast upgrade his tiny i think its 2.0 gallon might be 1.0 gallon to like a 6.6 or something.
As far as the damaged tail fin goes i am assuming that will just naturally heal over time ? rather not mess with something like melafix as its a brand new cycle.Last edited by justanothertank; 03-24-2013 at 07:54 PM.
