Just saying hello
Hi all.
I've dabbled in fish for about ten years, nothing serious, first was gold fish in a small tank, then Tetra's, Mollies and the like, then i moved up to a bit bigger tank and had Oscars for a good few years, then i got myself a 240l tank as they grew, an unfortunate accident whilst on holiday (mother in law!) saw the end of my 4 Oscars last year :-( so i dropped my water temp and had a few wild freshwater Roach and Rudd for a bit, they have now gone back in the river.
My mission now is basically a blank canvas, and i am hoping to build up a tank with a great display of plant life and fish to match, i'm hoping to get some info of you guys that will help me on my way :-)

Thanks for the Welcomes :-)
With the Oscars, the inlaw thought it would be easier (by mistake i'm told) to give them 3 weeks worth of food at once, it just sucked the oxygen out of the water, and i came home to a green tank, water was like soup :-( gutted cos they were fun fish to have...
