I will have many tunnels and such. I did have live rock but had a big problem with coraline on the front and as you probably know it is difficult to clean plexi with out scratching. I had the aquarium made for me so it has a blue backgroung and a black floor, looks pretty good. I had Poca Poca substrata (which is almost impossible to get) in my glass tank but scared to put in my plex. There is a great aquarium place in Seattle that has informed me I can order any fish in anypart of the world. And they promise it will be hand netted.

I have had to break the aquarium down and restore the glass. So I'm starting over. I love the Plex but does have problems. I no longer have the 180 and fish. Became Ill and couldn't do the the work load of the 180.

Seeing as you are starting over again with a empty tank, here is what I would suggest

4 Blue Reef Chromis (Chromis cyaneus) for a little activity

And any three of the four below fish:
Kole Yellow Eye Tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus)
White Tail Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus flavicauda)
    Latticed Butterflyfish (Chaetodon rafflesi)
    Saddleback Butterflyfish (Chaetodon ephippium)

You will need live rock on the set-up and some hiding spots for 6 to 8 inch fish to make the above work

Or.. Create larger hiding spots for a 8 to 10 inch fishs and consider the following different stocking plan

One of the two below lion fish:
    Antennata Lionfish, (Pterois antennata)
    Radiated Lionfish (Pterois radiate)

And one of the these tangs:
Kole Yellow Eye Tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus)
White Tail Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus flavicauda)

I've sean both of these set-ups done long term (a number of years) and they look great
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

A sorta related subject. Last fall I order some very expensive fish by overnight delivery from Florida, a supposedly highly reputable supplier. Ha! the fish came stressed beyond my saving them and of course the guarantee was impossible to collect on. I felt very bad that the fish died and it was very much against my personal feeling of responsibility. Never again will I buy overnight delivery!

Sounded like you got rid of the angle and the trigger that you had in there.

I would suggest rehoming the angle and trigger. I don't think they will do well long term in that tank as it is even too small for the pair of them.

I had to sell the fish to a local Casino (sad) but got a very nice price for them... I would like the suggested fish but wonder if I can work a Angle in with them? :) Also, I question the risk associated with the Lyon-fish?

My Trigger taught me all the respect for a fish that I need. Took a long time to heal the large chunk out of my arm. Kind of made me a little fearful of my tank. Wouldn't the lion be a threat also?

You start off by stating you have a majestic angle and a long spine puffer at the beginning of this thread. Then you stated it is emperor angle, and latter that you also have a trigger fish in there. Next you say you taking the tank down and starting over and now you are saying you still have the angle

I can't help you any more until you can get your story straight.

Perhaps some pictures of your tank would help as well

Hmmm Well I did have the three fish in my last aquarium and just down sized to the 100 gal plex. Huma Huma Trigger, Emperor Angle, and a Spiny Puffer were in the last tank. I had to restore the plex my plex due to scratches from cleaning off the Coraline. My original post was questioning the feasibility of a Spiny Puffer and a Angle in the100 Plex knowing that the margins were close. Thanks for all the help in that regard. I guess I kind of got carried away since its been a while since I've been on a Forum... Sorry, speaking about getting carried away how does the forum support itself? Is there a place I can make donation?
